Code of Conduct

The TDWA Rules and Regulations are designed to create an environment conducive to learning, respect, and personal growth. All students, parents, and staff are expected to adhere to these guidelines.

General Conduct & Behavior

Respect for Others

  • Treat all students, staff, and visitors with respect
  • Use appropriate language at all times
  • Respect personal space and property
  • No bullying, harassment, or discrimination

Personal Responsibility

  • Take responsibility for your actions
  • Complete assignments on time
  • Maintain personal hygiene
  • Follow instructions from staff

Prohibited Items

  • No weapons or dangerous objects
  • No alcohol, drugs, or tobacco
  • No gambling materials
  • No valuable personal items

Noise & Disturbance

  • Keep noise levels appropriate for learning
  • Use headphones for personal audio
  • Respect quiet study areas
  • No disruptive behavior in classes

Academic Integrity Policy

Honesty in Academic Work

TDWA maintains the highest standards of academic integrity. Any form of academic dishonesty is strictly prohibited and will result in disciplinary action.

Plagiarism

Submitting work that is not your own without proper citation

First offense: Zero on assignment + warning

Cheating

Using unauthorized materials or assistance during assessments

First offense: Zero on assessment + parent meeting

Collusion

Unauthorized collaboration on individual assignments

All involved receive zero + academic probation

Attendance & Punctuality Policy

Attendance Requirements

Reporting Absences

  • Notify administration via email or phone
  • Provide reason for absence
  • Submit medical certificate if ill for more than 2 days
  • Schedule make-up session within one week

Late Arrival Procedure

  • Sign in at reception if arriving late
  • Do not disturb ongoing classes
  • Check with tutor for missed work
  • Excessive lateness may affect academic standing

Disciplinary Procedures

Minor Infractions

Level 1

Examples: Late assignments, minor classroom disruptions

Actions: Verbal warning, parent notification

Moderate Infractions

Level 2

Examples: Repeated minor offenses, disrespectful behavior

Actions: Written warning, meeting with parents

Serious Infractions

Level 3

Examples: Academic dishonesty, bullying, property damage

Actions: Suspension, behavioral contract

Severe Infractions

Level 4

Examples: Violence, theft, substance abuse

Actions: Immediate expulsion, legal involvement

Parent & Guardian Responsibilities

Parents and guardians play a crucial role in supporting their child's education and ensuring compliance with TDWA rules and regulations.

Ensure regular attendance and punctuality

Communication

Maintain open communication with tutors and administration

Academic Support

Provide appropriate environment for homework and study

Financial Responsibility

Ensure timely payment of fees and other charges
